Martinez Renominated For Chess President
The nominating committee of the Manhattan Chess Club has reported the following slate to be voted on at the annual meeting this month: Aristides Martinez, president; H. R. Limburg, vice-president; James Davey, secretary; Otis W. Field, treasurer; Samuel Emery, Julius Finn, Lester Keene, H. I. Ladd, Walter Malowan, Robert Raubitschek and A. A. Spadone, directors.
J. Rosenthal, with 5½ to ½, was placed in the second of the club's rapid transit tourneys. Other high scores were: H. A. Colladay, 4½-1½; A. Hallgarten, 4-2; Rev. C. L. Newbold, 3-2.
