THREE student members of the Cincinnati Chess Club were lost to their respective college teams this week graduation. Robert Teegarden and Ernst Theimer, graduated from the University, Saturday, while Louis G. Boeh graduated from St. Xavier last Tuesday. Robert Teegrarden is well known at the Chess Club for his ability. He placed first in one major tournament and second in another. He was President of the local chapter of Beta Pi at the University during the past year and Secretary of the national organization of Beta Pi. He has distinguished himself in chemistry at U. C. and is at the present time affiliated with a large chemical corporation. His comrade in arms, Ernst Theimer, has served as President and Treasurer respectively of the Chemistry Club and last year was Captain of the U. C. chess team. In a recent problem contest conducted by The Enquirer he merited third prize.
Louis G. Boeh is also well known In local chess circles. Like Theimer and Teegarden, he is an active member of the Chess Club. He is a member of the St. Xavier debating team and on two successive years merited second place in inter-collegiate English contests held among various colleges in the United States.
All three men, Boeh, Theimer and Teegarden will leave a vacancy in their college chess teams that will be hard to fill, for they have practically built up the chess interest at their institutions, and have been the mainstays of their respective teams.

THE NEW TWO—Spectators waited outside First Presbyterian Church during the ceremony to catch a glimpse of the Nepomnyashchys (she nee Catherine Theimer) as they emerged, with their guests, from the ceremony at 4:28 p.m. Rumson police worked overtime (at no charge) when their shifts changed, in order to ensure an orderly procession to the reception at the Theimer home from the church. At right, guests in the know about Russian customs chanted “Gor'ko” as the couple posed for kisses. A Russian explained that “Gor'ko” means “bitter,” and is always the toast after vodka and a kiss. It makes, he said, the kiss sweeter. Register staff photos by Carl Forino.

'til the world understands why Robert J. Fischer criticised the U.S./British and Russian military industry imperial alliance and their own Israeli Apartheid. Sarah Wilkinson explains:

Bobby Fischer, First Amendment, Freedom of Speech
What a sad story Fischer was,” typed a racist, pro-imperialist colonial troll who supports mega-corporation entities over human rights, police state policies & white supremacy.
To which I replied: “Really? I think he [Bob Fischer] stood up to the broken system of corruption and raised awareness! Whether on the Palestinian/Israel-British-U.S. Imperial Apartheid scam, the Bush wars of ‘7 countries in 5 years,’ illegally, unconstitutionally which constituted mass xenocide or his run in with police brutality in Pasadena, California-- right here in the U.S., police run rampant over the Constitution of the U.S., on oath they swore to uphold, but when Americans don't know the law, and the cops either don't know or worse, “don't care” -- then I think that's pretty darn “sad”. I think Mr. Fischer held out and fought the good fight, steadfast til the day he died, and may he Rest In Peace.
Educate yourself about U.S./State Laws --
https://www.youtube.com/@AuditTheAudit/videos
After which the troll posted a string of profanities, confirming there was never any genuine sentiment of “compassion” for Mr. Fischer, rather an intent to inflict further defamatory remarks.

This ongoing work is a tribute to the life and accomplishments of Robert “Bobby” Fischer who passionately loved and studied chess history. May his life continue to inspire many other future generations of chess enthusiasts and kibitzers, alike.

The photograph of Bobby Fischer (above) from the March 02, 1956 The Tampa Times was discovered by Sharon Mooney (Bobby Fischer Newspaper Archive editor) on February 01, 2018 while gathering research materials for this ongoing newspaper archive project. Along with lost games now being translated into Algebraic notation and extractions from over two centuries of newspapers, it is but one of the many lost treasures to be found in the pages of old newspapers since our social media presence was first established November 11, 2017.
