R. R. Hargraves Died, Funeral Held Monday
Robert R. Hargraves of 740 Garfield avenue, died July 7. A native of Troy, New York, he had been a resident of this community for the past nineteen years, and was a member of a Pasadena Chess Club. Mr. Hargraves is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mary G. Hargraves; four sons, Jack of La Puente, Robert and William of South Pasadena and James Hargraves of Inglewood; two daughters, Patricia Hargraves and Mrs. Merilee Darby, both of South Pasadena; his mother, Mrs. Florence Hargraves of Glendale; and one brother, Walter Hargraves of Long Island. N.Y.
Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at two o'clock at the Chapel of Turner, Stevens & Eggleston, 1000 Fremont avenue, with Rev. John R. Steinhaus officiating.
