Ridley Park—Philip B. Driver, 77, a retired accountant for the Pennsylvania Railroad, died yesterday of a heart attack at his home, 24 W. Ward Ave. He had been ailing for several months.
Born in Chester, Mr. Driver had lived in Ridley Park for more than 50 years.
Mr. Driver was an avid devotee of chess, for years having been a member of the Franklin Chess club.
Surviving are his wife, Alice C., Bryn Mawr; a sister, Miss Jane Driver of Wilmington, and two grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. tomorrow at the Griffith funeral chapel, Chester pk. and Amosland rd., Norwood, followed by private burial. There will be no viewing.

Philip B. Driver, a retired employe of the Pennsylvania Railroad, died Wednesday at his home, 24 W. Ward ave., Ridley Partk. He was 77. He was graduated from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and was a well-known chess player in Philadelphia and New York. Funeral services will be held at 2 P. M. today at the Griffith funeral chapel, Norwood.
