Bergman. Carl J. In Oakland, Dec. 30. 1965, of 2306 McGee Ave., Berkeley, beloved husband of Evelyn Bergman of Berkeley; a native of Sweden; aged 77 years; a member of Inyo Lodge No. 221 F&AM, Independence, Calif., a retired language teacher of Hanford High School, and well known in chess circles.
