Bartholomew, Ernest M., in Yountville, Ca., September 07, 1977; father of Mrs. Cherylene Paper of Modesto; brother of Albert Bartholomew in Simi, Ca., Virginia Gibbons of Rochester, N.Y., Cecelia Stage of Gibsontown, Fla., and Margaret Seyller of Oakland, and Paul Bartholomew of Newport, Rhode Island; grandfather of three; also survived by several nieces and nephews. A native of New York; aged 57 years. A member of the Eagles. A veteran of World War II. A 1967 Chess Champion in the Hayward area.
Services were held Monday, September 12, 1977 at the Veterans Home in Yountville, Ca. with burial at Woodland Hills Memorial Cemetery, Woodland, Ca.
