CHESS CONGRESS.
Play was resumed yesterday, at eleven o'clock, and continued up till five. The result of the play in the Grand Tourney at that hour was as follows:
Herr Neumann, Berlin, won from Colonel Robertson, Edinburgh;
Mr. Cecil de Vera, London, won from Herr Steinitz;
Rev. G. A. Macdonnell of Westminster Club, won from Mr. J. H. Blackburne, the English blindfold player; and Mr. G. B. Fraser, Dundee, won from Mr. S. Hamel, Nottingham. The game between Dr. Fraser, Edinburgh, and Mr W. C. Spens, Edinburgh, was drawn. The scores in the grand Tourney stand thus:

THE CHESS CONGRESS.
The competitors resumed play yesterday forenoon, about eleven o'clock, in the room at the West Dock Street Railway Station.
THE GRAND TOURNEY.
The result of the third round in the Grand Tourney was as follows:—
Colonel Robertson, Edinburgh, won from Mr. W. C. Specs, Edinburgh;
Dr. Fraser, Edinburgh, won from Mr. S. Hamel, Nottingham;
Mr. Cecil De Vere, London, drew a game against Mr. G. B. Fraser, Dundee;
Mr. Blackburne won from Herr Steinitz; and a well contested game between Herr Neumann and Rev. G. A. Macdonnell, London, resulted after nine hours play in a draw. The scores in the Grand Tourney now stand thus:—
