Chess Playing In Bristol.
Yesterday we published the game contested by Mr. Cook against Mr. Blackburne, one of the ten played by the latter, blindfold and all at the same time, at the Fine Arts Academy, on Tuesday evening. We now give the one in which Mr. Minchin was the single player's antagonist, to enable our readers to compare the two varying attacks adopted by the distinguished professor, in the same opening. Singularly enough, he gained in each a winning advantage, but afterwards lost it, and was defeated in both games:—
